Irving Park United Methodist Church is a reconciling congregation, which means we welcome people of every age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, economic status, religious background, and physical ability. When we gather, we celebrate this diversity as a fuller expression of who God is.

Children are welcome to participate in worship in whatever way they choose, including as wandering angels.

SUMMER SERMON SERIES 2019
Letting the Bible Speak for Itself:
Everything your Sunday School teacher didn’t want you to know about the Bible
If this summer's sermon series, we’ll talk about some of our formational stories, focusing on the Hebrew Scriptures in July and the New Testament in August. We’ll look at stories like creation, Daniel in the Lion’s Den, Jonah, Martha and Mary, Peter walking on water and more. We’ll let them speak for themselves and learn to listen again to Scripture. We’ll also hear from each other, having a time of testimony as we hear the Gospel according to our church members. We hope you’ll join us this summer for a time of informal and relational worship!
